Rare amber found in Han Dynasty's tomb

An archeologist shows the amber unearthed from Marquis Haihun's tomb.

Rare amber with insects inside has been unearthed at Marquis Haihun's tomb dating back to the ancient China's Western Han Dynasty (206BC-24AD) in Nanchang in Jiangxi province. Archeologists also found remains of lacquer works in the tomb.

According to the archeologists, the size of the amber equals a grape. There are aligned shallow holes in two ends of the amber.
