Double Layer Leather Construction:  Results in a 10 - 12 oz. leather thickness.  Helps reduce the "sags" and results in a longer saddlebag life. Reinforced, Heavy-Duty Backs: We sandwich two 1/8" thick plastic plates over our heavy-duty silicon-impregnated leather. Extended Flap: We extend the flap further down the back of the bag.  This helps keep the flap from sagging and helps to reinforce the back of the bag. Extra Strong, rot-proof nylon thread:  Prevents dry-rot and increases the saddlebag's durability. Strong Rivets: Nickel-plated, rustproof, brass rivets Heavy-duty Buckles: Large, attractive heavy-duty buckles for our larger bags and smaller, yet durable, roller buckles for our smaller bags and tool pouches. Leather Straps: Made from the best, fully tanned harness leather for extra wear and durability.
