Maleic Modified Rosin Ester is a light yellow,irregular transparent solid, which is made from gum rosin and maleic adhydride through the eaterification by Glycerol or pentaerythritol. The resin is well compatible with nitrocellulose and alkyd resin, which enhance the hardness, adhesiveness, drying time, good gloss.Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons,ketones,and esters, insoluble in alcohols, glycols and water.
