The steel is developed on the basis of Sweden SKF2205; it is widely used in various countries and has resistance to the environment of hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and chloride; it has good weldability and can have cold & hot working and forming.The steel is suitably used as structural material to replace 022Cr19Ni10 steel and 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 steel; it is commonly used in making pressure equipment that may easily produce corrosive pitting and stress corrosion such as oil well pipe, chemical storage tank, heat exchanger, condenser, cooler, etc.
