Crazy shape slate stone or Galana in local language is mined from naturally formed river beds. It is cut in slices from the bed rock. The width of the slices varies according to demand and the shape varies naturally, however it is possible to have desired shapes according to customer request. It comes in shades of brown or yellow. It can be fixed on walls of houses for aesthetic purpose, on walkways to give a natural look (even cost effective) and even on roofs as is the case in Italy. It is a strong and long-lasting material.
