Brazilian Cherry has Janka hardness of 2350 (compared to approx.1260 for Red Oak). This very photosensitive hardwood deepens in color with age and is salmon red to orange brown when fresh, becoming russet to reddish brown when seasoned; often marked with dark streaks.Mazama Brazilian Cherry is 3/4"x4". Board lengths are 1'-7' with an average length over 3' and the boards are tongue and grooved on all four edges.Mazama Satin Prefinished Brazilian Cherry is finished with 10 coats of UV cured finish, including aluminum oxide, with a 25 year finish warranty.
