Family of Three (Large) - Code DS07 The Family of Three (Large) sculpture is tall, elegant and simple. Three figures hold onto each other as if they are posing for a camera. Subtle differences in size, posture and line indicate that this is a mother, father and their child. The mother and fathers heads are tilted slightly inwards giving a clear message of love and affection for the child. If we walk around the sculpture, we see that the mother and father are holding each others hands, another indication of their love for each other. This sculpture captures the emotions of love, care and compassion as the body language of each figure is pure and uncomplicated. The child figure in the middle holds a bowl overflowing with water.
