GISA ARC SEMILLON SAUVIGNON BLANC 2K8GISA wines are contemporary, high quality wines that are sourced from premium wine growing regions. 2008 ARC Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is sourced principally from South Australian Vineyards. The fruit was machine harvested prior to the Heat Wave that dominated the 2008 vintage. Fruit was crushed, chilled, gently pressed, then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel vats where the wine underwent a controlled fermentation. The high proportion of Semillon offers a citric lift and the small parcels of Adelaide Hills Semillon fruit offers a mineral edge and lifted floral aromas. The combination of Sauvignon Blanc adds aromatically to the nose with the introduction of a grassy note.An un-oaked style displaying fresh varietal character. Predominantly Semillon allows the wine to show generous mouth feel whilst still retaining a light, crisp, fresh, clean palate.A young, refreshing wine with lively acidity.Post Bottling AnalysisAlcohol: 12.00 %
