She studies at the Schools of Visual Arts Manuel Belgrano and Prilidiano Pueyrredon. She gets her degree as a Professor of Arts specialized in Engraving.She has worked with different masters, such as Perez Celis in painting, Roberto Paez and Guillermo Roux in drawing and has attended art classes by painter Jorge Luduena.Teaching is also an important part of Estela Bartolis activities. Since 1960, she has devoted herself to teaching in different primary, secondary and higher schools. She has been giving art courses in her workshop since 1989.In 1975 she presented her first individual exhibition in Buenos Aires, thus opening a long series of shows, the most outstanding of which are those that took place in: Galeria G(G Gallery) in Mendoza (1976), Galeria Diez (Diez Gallery) in Rosario,
