Fused cast AZS blockFused cast AZS blocks are wildly used materials for both glass contacting and superstructure of glass melting furnaces. According to the content of zirconia, they are classified into 3 branches:
1. 32% ZrO2 : application for glass contacting (such as paving tiles, working-end) and superstructures.
2. 36% ZrO2 : the corrosion resistance was improved compared with 32% ZrO2 , better for melter sidewall application.
3. 40% ZrO2 : with the highest corrosion resistance among the AZS branches, used for all demanding glass contacting application, electrode blocks, submerged walls, throats and melter sidewalls.
