FeaturesSpherical roller bearings are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner ring and barrel rollers with cages. The inner rings have cylindrical or tapered bores. Spherical roller bearings are basically manufactured to E design, CC design and CA design.
E design structure: Consists of symmetrical rollers and a floating guide ring between the two rows of rollers, flangeless inner ring, two hardened window-type steel cages. The dynamic load rating is improved 20% to 35% averagely. Therefore the rating life is 2.0 to 3.5 times as the same type of traditional structure design under the same condition.
CC design structure: consists of symmetrical rollers, two window-type steel cages, flangeless inner ring and a floating guide ring between the two rows of rollers.
CA design structure: consists of symmetrical rollers, a double pronged, machined brass cage, an inner ring with retaining flanges.
