2/4-High Skin Pass MillsThese mills are used in the important skin-pass process which determines the final product quality for materials such as cold-rolled steel strip, galvanized steel strip, stainless steel strip, and tin plate. The skin-pass process adds small reduction to annealed cold -rolled steel strip or plated steel strip. This corrects the product flatness, adds mechanical properties, and adjusts the surface luster and roughness.
TEDMEC have offline skinpass mill with wet and dry skinpass system in the portfolio. It can supply inline Skinpass mill for continuous annealing line, continuous galvanizing line and color coating line. Skin passing quality is controlled by rolling force, strip tension or combination of both as per process requirement.
