2.Characteristics

This is a kind of medium carbon quenched and tempered steel, the strength of steel, plastic and wear resistance are higher, machinability and thermal treatment process performance is good, in the critical quenching oil through the diameter of 8.5 ~ 23mm, in the water critical hardenable diameter of 20 ~ 42mm; but the presence of temper brittleness and overheating sensitivity, cracking easy and quenching.This steel has hydrogen flaking, cold plastic deformation is not high, poor weldability, need to preheat to 100 ~ 425 ? before welding.
