Stainless steel 17-4PH (SUS630, AISI630, S17400, DIN1.4542) is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel with Cu and Nb additions. This material combines high strength and hardness, with good corrosion resistance. Mechanical properties can be optimized with heat treatments. The materials are generally used for parts requiring corrosion resistance and high strength at room temperature. It is suitable for machining in the solution-annealed, cold-worked and age-hardened condition.Standard: ASTM A564, A705, A693.
