Woven Mesh Gabions

Woven gabions get the name in contrast with welded gabions. Gabions can be made of woven wire mesh flexible twisted, they can also be made of welded mesh.

Main differences:
The opening types of the woven gabions are normally hexagonal with wires twisted, while the welded gabions are normally square opening or diamond opening.

Processing involved: Woven gabions are made by twisting of wire, while welded gabions are made by welding of steel wire.

Both are popular structure units for retaining, geogrid and reinforcing.
