C9 Hydrogenated petroleum resin

1. Description

LH series petroleum resin is the thermoplastic white water color hydrogenated aromatic resin obtained from polymerizing of C9 aromatic and hydrogenation. Owing to broad compatibility with numerous elastomers, polymers and other tackifying resins, it is used in hot melt adhesives based on EVA,SBS and SIS copolymers.

LH series hydrogenated C9 resin has a ring and ball softening point of 100℃ and Gardner color of 0,1,2. Easily Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic ,and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents . Insoluble in alcohols and water. Compatible in useful proportions with natural and synthetic rubbers, ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA) copolymers, amorphous polyolefins, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) resins; styrenebutadiene rubber (SBR) copolymer ,styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene(SEBS) ,styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS) and styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS) block copolymers.
