Chemical formula: CrO3, molecular weight: 99.994.

Dark red flakes. Melting point: 197 degree celsius ((starts to decompose).

Specific gravity: value="2.7" tcsc="0" unitname="g" w:st="on">2.70 g/cm3.  Strong oxidation, deliquesces readily in air, and highly soluble in water. Flammable in friction with organic compounds.    Poisonous.

Application

Widely used in chromium plating, wood preservation, medicine, catalyst, pigment, oxidizing agent, glass coloring and mordant of textile etc.

Also used as a material producing oxidative catalyst.

Notice

1.Do not store with inflammable substance, reducing agent, organic compounds etc.

2.Avoid moisture, heat and shock during storage and transportation.

3.Also avoid contacting with eyes and skin.

4.Personal protective appliance should be equipped with, such as self-suction respirator, acid-proofing rubber gloves, security coat and boot, chemical-resistant protective glasses.

5.In case of leakage, the polluted area should be quarantined. Entry and exit should be strictly controlled. The leaked material should be gathered, reclaimed or transported and disposed in the waste-disposal station.

Use recommendations

this product has high content, low impurities and sulfate, routine use of maintenance, such as by value="50" tcsc="0" unitname="kg" w:st="on">50 kg / barrel chromium anhydride dollars, need to add reagents or analytical pure sulfuric acid 30 ~ 50ml. (This ratio is the amount of chromium added daily maintenance dosage of fluid, the actual test cycle analysis according to the report should also be adjusted).
