Diatomite is the natural substances by the aquatic plankton—diatoms living a few hundred yeas ago. The main component is opal, it is rich in variety of useful minerals and the texture is light and soft. Under the electron microscope it is found that there are numerous tiny holes on the surface, the porosity is more than 90% and the surface area is 65/g. It is the outstanding crystal structure that determines its unique features—It has extremely strong physical adsorption performance and ion exchange performance.

Construction process

1. Mixing method

1.1 Prepare the same quantity water and diatom ooze powder.

1.2 First pour 90% water in a big container, and then pour diatom ooze powder into it.

1.3 Mix it fully with mini-type high-speed blender.

1.4 Adjust it with the remaining 10% water when mixing.

2. Daub: daub twice, the total thickness is between 1.5 ~ 3.0 mm.

Under coating construction: daub diatom mud first time: first pass daub evenly and smooth after a few minutes(the surface is not sticky).

Upper coating construction: daub diatom mud for the second time: keep the uniform and smooth.

3. Texture pattern's making: according to the actual dry environment , master the drying time, according to construction method to make texture pattern.

4. Collect light: after making the texture pattern, collect light and compaction follow the design pattern with collect light trowel.
