Antiozonant BHT , White granules , Used for soles and other rubber products.

Recommendations and Applications:

As a general-purpose phenolic antioxidants , BHT is widely used in polymer materials , 

petroleum products and food processing industries. 

Rubber antioxidant BHT is commonly used to resist heat and oxygen aging , to inhibited copper as well. 

No anti-ozone ability when used alone , 

but BHT will protective vulcanizates from a variety of climatic damage 

along with anti-ozone agents and wax. 

It is used as gelling agents in SBR. It is largely volatile, easily dispersed in rubber ,

can be directly mixed into rubber or added as a dispersion into latex. 

It is widely used in natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex, without discoloration and pollution. 

It is used to manufacture white sidewall of tires , whit, chromic and transparent rubber and latex products, 

as well as daily used , health care, blankets, soles and other rubber products. 

General amount is 0.5-3.0 PHR in the rubber parts. 

No blooming when the amount increase to 3.0-5.0 PHR.

BHT can also be used as processing and storage stabilizer for synthetic rubber, 

such as styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber , ethylene-propylene rubber , neoprene , etc. 

BHT is also an effective antioxidant in other polymer materials. 

And it is an effective stabilizers in polyethylene , 

polyvinyl chloride (the amount of 0.01-0.1%) and polyvinyl ether. 

It is used to avoid discoloration and prevent mechanical strength loss in PS and its copolymers. 

It protects celluloid plastic from heat and light aging of cellulose esters and cellulose ethers ,

in the amount of 1%. 

It is also heat stabilizer of synthetic fibers , such as polypropylene.
