The application method and flame-retardant effect of Firegard CP are similar to those of Provatex CP and KWB which were developed by foreign chemical companies. Firegard CP is able to polymerize and condense on the surface and inside of the fabric to form insoluble polymer. There is no special requirement in the application process of Firegard CP. Textiles finished with Hansi Tex-1 are  flame retardant with very low formaldehyde content. The treated articles feel soft and are fast to washing with a longer life of cycle. Their textile character can be retained after 50 even 200 times of home washing.

Firegard CP has been successfully applied to a variety of textiles, including garments (work wear, children and adults’ pajamas and shirts), home textiles (curtains, tablecloth, mattress, sheets, carpets, wall paper, slipcovers), decorative fabrics (textiles used on airplanes, trains, ships; in hotels, buildings, public places), industrial fabrics (tents, toys), etc.

Textiles treated with Firegard CP meet Chinese Standard GB 8965, GB 5455; American Standard NFPA 1971, NFPA 1975, NFPA 2112; European Union Standard EN 531, EN 532, EN 533, EN 470, EN 469; Austrilian AS 4824 and UK Furniture Fireproofing Standard BS 5852.
