nonwoven polyester mat

The nonwoven polyester mat that we are manufacturing,  is used as core ply, or reinforcement ply in the bitumen(asphalt) membrane, bitumen sheet, asphalt waterproof roll roofing, sbs flashing, self adhesive bitumen membrane, and other bitumen waterproofing products. The bitumen oil is usually app/sbs polymer modified.

The mat is needle punched and thermal bonded, to maximize the shear resistance in the cross-section of the mat and the thermostability, to prevent shinkage in the high temparature oil.

Features of  nonwoven polyester mat for bitumen membrane:

1) Ideal substrate material for asphalt waterproofing rolls and shingles

2) Act as reinforcement layer in bitumen waterproof materials, with sbs or app membrane

3) Excellent binding strength with sbs/app modified bitumen

4) High tensile strength, high tear strength, higher elongation property, higher measure stability and resist shrinking in the high temprature process

5) Corrosion resistance, aging resistance, thermal stability, good soak in bitumen oil

6) Protect polymer foam insulation from the damaging effect caused by chemical solvents in bitumen to prolong the life time of heat insulation layer.
