Description

Usage:

Ozone aging chamber is widely used to test rubber and its products anti-aging performance by ozone.

Principle:

The ozone aging test chamber is applicable in rubber products such as vulcanized rubber, thermoplastic rubber, cable insulating sheath.

The specimen will be statically stretched or dynamically stretched and deformed by special jig, or subject to above alternant two states, and at the same time, exposed in test chamber containing thermostatic air with constant zone content, tested for pre-set time.

Then take out the specimen, check cracking phenomenon and change of properties, evaluate influence of ozone on rubber, determine ozone anti-aging performance of rubber.

based on test result, work out effective aging resistance measures to improve rubber’s life time.

Static tensile test:

Fixed two ends of rubber on special jig, stretched according to certain elongation (usually 20% of original length optioned), the jig will be fitted on the rotating specimen holder with speed of 20-25mm/s under environment of temperature (40±2)  and humidity less than 65% and regulated ozone concentration.

Check cracking phenomenon after set time.
