Rockwool (mineral) products is an economical light weight thermal insulation material which is well recognized as one of the best material for thermal and insulation purpose is manufactured from a mixture of natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperature to form a molten matrix, which is then passed through an air stream that cools the material and forms long fibrous strands.
