Pacific International Lines (PIL) was established by Mr. Zhang Yunzhong in Singapore in 1967. At the initial stage of establishment, the company was mainly engaged in the regional bulk cargo transportation. It promoted container transport service in 1983 for the very first time. It has become one of the largest shipping companies in Asia from bulk cargo transportation company and ranks the 19th among the world container transportation companies.
