Usage:

1. Knife Sharpening

To begin with, place the knife plainly, keeping the sharpener 90° to the blade

2. Scissors/Shear Sharpening

To begin with, open the scissors/shear to 90°, place one side plainly, sharpening the blades with moderate pressure. 

Caution:

Never sharpen the serrated blades.
