Make a good mould design for double color mould


(1) Inspections before design.

1, product materials, consider plastic characteristics if there is problem of plastic material.

2, plastic forming sequence it depends on products feature, plastic characters and colors.

3, plastic shrinkage of double color products double color products are usually made of two different colors, its shrinkage changes much. For example ABS(0.5%) for the first time and TPU(1.8%). When designing, we use 0.5%. Because product outline is formed by the first injection the material for the second time will not shrink too much. Generally the double color products plastic shrinkage depends on the first material. Thus it is an important link in mould design

4, mould structure option after the three conclusions above, we design the suitable constractures system according to products structure.

5, injection machine option we choose machine type, tonnage, tube volume, load capacity of turn plate system according to mould structure system.

6, runner system suitable runner system can fill the material fast to increase production under lower injection pressure. And it can also reduce waste as well as injection time.

7, water runner(oil runner) system it can make the mould with good cooling, constant temperature, stable production quality and efficiency.
