SMT existing type of threading insert is grounded profile and chip breaker inserts, delivering high quality threads, offered in a few grades and coatings to fit all the manufacturing purposes. Meanwhile, we are also providing vertical (on edge) inserts.

Grade SMT20 is a TiN PVD coated grade, with a micrograin substrate offering high temperature stability and a low coefficient of friction, suitable for machining carbon steel ,cast steel, high-strength steel and non-ferrous metal alloy steel at lower speed.
Grade SMT30 is a TiN PVD coated grade,with a micrograin substrate offering high temperature stability and a low coefficient of friction, suitable for machining stainless steel at lower speed.
Grade SMT25 is a TiAlN PVD coated grade, ideal for machining carbon steel cast steel, high-strength steel and non-ferrous metal alloy steel at higher speeds.
Grade SMT35 a TiAlN PVD coated grade, ideal for machining stainless steel at higher speeds.
