Figure 1502 hammer union is almost the most widely used pipe connection among all hammer unions. It is widely used especially in high pressure systems thanks to its solid structure. It is designed of replaceable nitrile lip-type seal ring, which can minimize fluid flow turbulence. The lip-type seal ring also provides pressure seal and protects the metal-to-metal sealing surface. It is recommended for cementing, fracturing, acidizing, testing and choke & kill line. It is suitable for air, water, oil, gas or mud service of 15000 psi cold working pressure. It is also used for sour gas of 10000 psi cold working pressure. It can be used as non-pressure sealing connection union. The test pressure is 22500 psi. The nut is blue and parts are red. It is available with threaded or butt weld.
