SDS carbide bit are made from premium quality steel and carbide. SDS bits is attached to the electro-pneumatic hammer drill and it's being used to attach a fixture to cured concrete. The SDS bits are made of 5 parts: shank, land, flutes, head, carbide tip. The shank has two sets of grooves that fit into the hammer drill collar. The land is the raised portion of the spiral. The flute can remove the dust as the hole is being drilled. The last two parts are used to break up the concrete.
