Standard retaining rings are made here in the USA. There are two manufacturers remaining, Rotor Clip and Truarc. Truarc is a company that is comprised of the Industrial Retaining Ring Company, Anderton United, Waldes and Ellison Corporation.

These standard retaining rings are stamped when manufactured. Retaining Rings are internal, external, e-rings, and c-rings. Stamped retaining rings can be manufactured in stainless steel, steel, copper, and zinc plated varieties. They are used in bores, shafts for bearings, axles, cylinders, gearboxes, the possiblities are endless.
