Pot bearing are the most widely used bridge bearings. Pot bearing transmit the vertical and horizontal load of superstructure to substructure allowing superstructures rotation (0.01 Rad.) through the compression of rubber pad. PTFE and stainless steel sliding plate allow the movement of superstructure caused by the change of temperature.
