The V-Max POT bearing coupled with ST fluid shock transmission unit allows to modify the structure connection system from static to dynamic loads. The POT bearing allows to carry loads and rotation while the ST  is a fluid dynamic restrain with a response governed by the velocity. It reacts with negligible force for small velocity (thermal, creep, etc. movements) and stops the motion for high velocity (dynamic loads due to earthquake, wind, braking, etc.).
