Application:

This PRV of Mounting Thread size 1”B.S.P. (G1” to ISO 228) is designed to be used on O.L.T.C., Transformers, & similar equipment’s / tank with non corrosive liquid.  Preferred mounting at the top Horizontally / Vertically.

CHARACTERISTICS:( G-1MB)/(G-1MA)

• Spring Safety Valve Body (1),G-1MB completely made of Brass/Model G-1MA made of Aluminium compact, highly reliable and particularly useful for use in transformer & tanks containing non corrosive liquid even in extreme outdoor condition.
• Minimum surface area required with reference to flow capacity below & above Tank.
• Reliable Operating Pressure from 0.20 to 0.70 kPa. (0.20 to 0.70 bar) Tolerance± 0.05 / 10%.
• Positive Resealing Pressure.
• Operating Temperature   :  0 to 100° C (of tank liquid).
• Sealing (3) is with Nitrile Rubber “O” Ring.
• Valve Resetting Automatic. Suitable for repeated use.  
• Can be used as an Oil Filling Cap too.
• Can also be used as Air Release Valve. For artificial release of inbuilt pressure in Tank, Heavy Gauge & Large Diameter Pull Ring (8) is provided.
• Protective Brass Cap (4) Cap provides stronger & better aesthetic look. Also directs the Oil Spillage downwards. 

OPTIONS:

1. PRV with Nickel - Chrome Plated surface finish is also available. 

2. PRV with “O” Ring can be provided in place of Flat Gasket (7). 

3. PRV with “O”Ring (3) / Flat Gasket of Viton Rubber can be provided for special application. 

4. PRV at different operating pressure (higher/lower) can be supplied as per your request.

ROUTINE TEST :                                        

Each P.R.V is calibrated & checked for its Operating Pressure (Opening) by compressed air.

INSTALLATION:

 Depending upon mounting position preferably at the tank cover or top side is to be provided with leak proof welded, inside mounting 1” B.S.P. Thread Boss of length (25mm.) and tightened with  Nitrile Rubber Flat Gasket/ “O” Ring (7) in between supplied along with PRV.
