Thrust spherical roller bearing is separable type of bearing with high axial load rating, it accommodates redial load to some extent while taking axial load as long as redial load is not more than 55% of axial load.

This type of bearing has the feature of self-aligning features with permissible mis-aligning angle to be 1.5 to 2.5 degrees, which defers according to different diameter series. This angle is decreased while the load increases.
