Our standard bearing housings are designed to incorporate radial self-aligning rolling bearings, i.e.
| – | self-aligning ball bearings |
| – | spherical roller bearings |
| – | CARB bearings. |
This is because a bearing arrangement usually involves two bearing positions on a shaft and accurate alignment of the two is usually difficult.
For application where standard housings are not suitable, we can supply special housings of grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron and cast steel, e.g. for
