THRUST BALL BEARING  is  separabel,  which  can   only  carry axial  load. The  single  direction  bearings of them can  only  carry axial  load  in  one  direction, whlie  the  double  can  carry  alternating  axial  load  in  either direction.Before using they have to be preloaded.
