Description of the bearing:

a)The rollers in single row cylindrical roller bearings are always guided between the integral "open" flanges on one of the rings. 

b)The single row caged cylindrical roller bearing is the combination of 2 machined and polished grooved raceways(inner&outer rings), guilding a number of appropriate cylindrical rollers as the rolling elements, with a cage or full complement. This type bearings are designed to carry heavy radial loads at high speed.

c)N design bearing has two integral flanges on the inner ring and no flange on the outer ring.

d)There are many differernt designs of single row caged cylindrical roller bearings  N, NJ, NU, and NUP. 

e)Cylindrical roller bearings with cage have high radial load carrying capacity, operating at high speed. Full compliment cylindrical roller bearings can accommodate even higher radial loads, but at low and moderate speed.

Application:

Large and medium-sized motor, locomotives, spindle, internal combustion engines, generators, gas turbines, reducer, rolling mill, vibrating screen and lifting transportation machinery, etc.
