Liquid receivers are used in refrigeration systems for the purpose of allowing the system to adjust to varying loads.
The function of the liquid receiver is to store liquid refrigerant which is supplied to the evaporator, acting as a reservoir to the system for times of increased load. The selection of liquid receiver size should be based on the system refrigerant volume. The specification of the liquid receiver is listed below:
