SKOBO - KB 4031 Model Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves
The model specially design for high working temperature & high pressure service

Valve designed in accordance with API6D for classes ASME Class150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, 2500,
Two piece split body cast steel and three piece forged steel side entry design bolted connections between body and closure,
Trunnion bolted connection, thickness comply with ANSI B 16.34, Standard design is soft seated, customer featured products accept.
Port available in full and reduced bore, valves desinged for use with various combinations of material such as :
Carbon Steel, Forged Steel, Low Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Monel, Inconel, Special alloy

Body Joint Construction :
Three pieces body and entry desgin, graphite ring or o-ring (orrequest ) seal ensure absolute seal integrity. The bolt body designs include a tight
tolerance overlapping metal fit between the body and the adapter to minimize any possibility to movement due to pipeline stress. High temperature sprial
wound stainless steel/grafoil filled gasket is used for absolute seal. Body and adaptors are dimensioned for metal contract to ensure correct gasket crush.

Stem Design/Anti Blowout :
The stem ismakde separtely from the ball, anti blow-up design with suitable PEFE and graphite rings and antistatic devices

Anti-Static Device :
All flow control-floating flanged ball valves include dual grounding stystems from stem to ball and stem to body.
Valve testing to BS5351 and BS5146 was performed for all sizes and witnessed by a third party inspection company.

Emergency Sealant Injection :
SKOBO trunnion type ball valves are fitted with emergency seals to restore sealing in case of soft seal damage.

Double Block and bleed :
All ball valve be equiped with drain valve which allows the block and bleed feature when the pressure is simultaneously applied to both sides of the ball, the medium can relieved through the drain valve. Standard design of trunnion mounted ball valves assure that each seat ring performs the " Single pistion action "

Main Features :
Three pieces body.
Valve is designed in accordance with the requirements of API 6D or pipeline service.
Antistatic and anti blow-out stem desgin.
Seat desgin gives perfect tighness and is available as either self-relieving type or double pistion effect type.
Design minimizes friction leading to low operating torque.
Aavaiable as double block and bleed device which allows for venting and draining of ling fluid from the body cacity.
Available full and reduced bore.
Ball valves fire safe tested according to BS EN 12266-2, API 6FA and API 607.
Electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators and available based on customer's requirement.
