Usually it is used for transfering the movement from working engine. Its hydraulic pump couples as turning side of engine. If the turning side doesn't determine correctly, it cannot work. It transfers 350 HP (257,6 KW).

Head coupling's turning hoop must be equal to the other hoop or must be smaller than the other hoop. It can couple in place of head coupling which is on the body of engine. Also it can couple on chassis with its wide feet.
