Cross steel grating is a heavy-duty, pedestrian-friendly steel grating that can handle most wheel traffic. This grating comes in two span lengths: short span and long span. The short span series are designed to span up to 3 feet. The long span series can span up to 8 feet.

Wheels and heels is constructed with 1/4 inch thick steel bearing bars. The long span series also contain 3/16 inch filler bars which are alternated with the bearing bars. The bearing (and filler bars) are welded in place to produce a remarkably strong grating.
