Twin layers oil tank is steel reinforced fiberglass twin layers oil tank. It is originally rooted from America; introduced to Japan and by TAMADA CO., LTD. and modified in 1994. In the same year, Japanese market defined the product as “steel reinforced fiberglass twin layers oil tank”, set up relative regulations, and extended the application gradually. According to the statistics, the application rate on gasoline in Japan, European and American countries rapidly increased from 7.1% in 1985 to 98% in the end of 2009. The reason for so rapid spread in market is it has incomparable safe, environment protection and economic property than normal single layer tank
1. The structure of steel reinforced fiberglass twin layers oil tank: we adopt a patent processing method between the inside steel layer and outside reinforced fiberglass layer, that is resin-membrane covered process (Patent No. 200510066751.4) ,which produces gap of 0.1mm between the two layers, so the material in the tank will not flow over and pollute the environment immediately even if leakage happened to the inside shell. Meantime, high-grade leakage inspection device made in Japan is fitted to the oil tank; once there is leakage of inside shell, the sensor can sense the direction and quantity of flow, so the user can stop the use and repair it at the prompt time, which absolutely perish the possibility of any accident that if the dangerous material flow out of the tank.

Fiberglass reinforced shell can protect the inside steel shell from any outsourced corrosion.Because the normal steel oil tank is usually berried underground, which make it easy to be corroded by water and electrolyzedthe service life of normal oil tank is very short, 5~10years only, and the normal oil tank is liable to crack after corroded, which result in the leakage; however the out shell of twin layers oil tank is composed of special resin and reinforced fiberglass spraying roving, which is formed one time, and it has been tested by pressing and decompressing to ensure the absolute sealing. It will not be corroded by water and will not be electrode because fiberglass is insulation material. So, in normal circumference, the service life of twin layers tank can be 25 years at least.

The safety and environmental protection property of twin layers tank reduce the cost for user indirectly, because the user is free from building underground oil storage chamber and can bury the tank into underground directly; repair and maintenance are necessary for normal oil tank every year, which increase the maintenance time and cost, but no maintenance is needed for steel shell of the twin layers tank absolutely, only surface inspection for fiberglass reinforced shell is needed every three years; even there is abnormal phenomenon we can use the same fiberglass material to repair it, time saving and trouble saving.
