Seamless steel pipe for middle & low pressure boiler is the steels that had life pack and hollow section, larger value ratio of length and circumference. Produce process:
The temperature of seamless steel pipe in using is often in 350°C. The pipe is mainly produced by 10# or 20# carbon construction steel rolling tube or drawn tube. As the seamless steel pipe is often used in environment of high temperature and high pressure, the pipe is easy oxygenated and korrodiert by heat smoke and steam. So the seamless steel pipe is asked for long-time strength, excellent thermal oxide stability and anticorrosion function, and good structure stability.
The seamless steel pipe is often used as water wall tube, boiling water tube, dry pipe, dry pipe for the locomotive boiler, fire tube, and arch tube. It is also used as high pressure and super-pressure boiler‘s dry pipe, reheater tube, air-guide tube, and main steam pipe.
Standard and appearance quality:
1) GB3087-82 seamless steel pipe for middle & low pressure boiler rule: all kinds of structure with steel tube boilers’ OD is 10~426mm, total 43 species. Their wall thickness is 1.5~26mm, total 29 species. But dry pipe for the locomotive boiler, fire tube, and arch tube’s OD and wall thickness are otherwise provided.
2) GB5310-95 seamless steel pipe for high pressure boiler’s rule: Hot rolled pipe’s OD is 22~530mm, wall thickness is 20~70mm. Cold drawn pipe’s OD is 10~108mm, wall thickness is 2.0~13.0mm.
3) GB3087-82 Seamless steel pipe for low & middle pressure boiler’s rule and GB5310-95 seamless steel pipe for high pressure boiler’s rule: Any crevice, fold, rolling fold, rolling skin, separation, hair cracking are not allowed, no matter steel pipes’ inside surface or outside surface. Those defects must be removed completely. The remove deep can’t outnumber negative deviation of nominal thickness; the practical thickness of remove place should not less than the allowable minimum.
