Corrugated metal pipe (culverts) is processed from carbon steel plate, and is hot dip galvanized as a way of anti-erosion. If it is classified by the integrity of the circumference, there are two forms, one is the integral pipe, another is fragments assembled pipe. It is an idea replacement for cement pipe culvert, cover culvert, box culvert and small bridges used in the road and railway projects.

2. Anti-erosion method

Galvanizing is generally adopted for anti-erosion, zinc thickness is 600g/square meter; if it is needed, an extra anti-erosion layer of PE and epoxy covering both inside and outside of the pipe is possible, which can increase the service life up to 50 years.
