| Pipe Handing Davit System (PHDS) are positioned to the side of a barge and used for lifting or lowering a pipe string from or to the seabed for maintains or repair services. The PHDS exists of 5 or 6 pipeline lifting davits, which can be controlled separately. Furthermore a Remote Control Console (RCC) is supplied from where the units are controlled simultaneously. | |

| 2) The davits are designed with a Safe Work Load (SWL) on the wire at an angle of ±40° to the vertical in the vessels longitudinal direction. The SWR will move smoothly in or out within this range. | |
