Backstop Clutch ( Cam Clutch , Overrunning Clutch) RSBW Series

1 Type RSBW is a FDC sprag type freewheel. It is bearing supported, centered plain bearings for low rotational speeds.

2  Unit is delivered grease lubricated ready for installation in either a horizontal or vertical position.

3  Primarily used as a back stop. this type provides a high torque capacity with a minimum space uirement. The design allows installation in difficult environments such as high humidity or water splash areas.

4  A bolt, secured to a fixed part of the machine and passing through the solt in the torque arm, provides the rotational stop. Radial clearance on this bolt should be equal to 1 of the solt width. The torque arm and the bearings must not be prestressed.
