Stucture: it's made of inner tube of oil resistant synthetic rubber, multi spiral plies of heavy steel wire wrapped in alternative directions, and an oil/weather resistant synthetic rubber cover. A ply  braid of suitable material would be used over/within inner tube over the wire reinforcement to anchor the rubber
