The weld material is with following chemistry: Carbon 4.2~5.45% , Cr 25.3~30%, Si 0.7~1.5%, Mn 0.2~1%, Ni 0.1~0.4%, B 1~1.5%, Fe-balance

Generally, functionality of its wear resistance has the following statistics:
 
1.20- 25 times harder than low carbon steel plate;
2.1.5-2.5 times harder than as-cast high chromium steel plate;
3.5-10 times harder than tool steel plate;
4.5-20 times harder than high manganese steel plate
