The Fireeyes GPS system is built on GPS, Geographic Information System and wireless communication technologies. The system collects positioning and other data of the vehicles or the machinery on real time basis, and transfers them to the backend servers. Thus managers are able to monitor, dispatch or control their resources remotely.

The system consists of: GPS devices, wireless network, server software and client software.

The In-Vehicle-Device (IVD) is consisted of main box, GSM/GPS antennas and optional parts. The basic functions of the device include detecting real-time position, latitude, longitude, time, course and speed. Besides these basic functions, the device is able to communicate with other sensors or equipments through the preserved data interface on the main box.
