1. The basic design of mounted bearing units is one bearing (insert bearing, which is a single row deep groove ball bearing with convex sphered outside) + a mounted bearing housing(which has a correspondingly sphered but concave bore).

2. The mounted bearing units are available in various different designs.

3. The main materials for the housing is cast iron.

4. The mounted bearing units are secured on the shaft via the bearing inner ring by: (1). grub screws(UCFB Series); (2). eccentric locking collar with grub screw(NAFB Series); (3). adapter sleeve (UKFB Series)

5.There are also main three types of seals for the units: standard seals, standard seals with plain flinger and the standard seals with rubberised flinger for arduous operatiing conditions.
